In Vancouver, these programs do not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. Therefore, PTIB did not review these programs.

Course Fees & How to Apply

Learn more about how you can save with our special promotions, available multi-course packages, language level requirements, and how you can improve your English before moving into industry skills with Executive English Accelerated Courses.

Students must be at least 18 years of age and have an English level of B1 or equivalent.

Language Proficiency on Entry: In order to demonstrate an English level of B1 or equivalent, students can show:

  • IELTS score of 5.0 (no band below 4.5)
  • Oxford ELLT 4
  • Spotlight Level 5
  • Oxford International Level 5 completion 
  • TOEFL iBT 49 
  • Cambridge PET – Merit 
  • TOEIC 431 – 530 
  • Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 5-6
 
Students interested in applying for Executive English courses can also take a free Spotlight test and will need to receive a score of Level 5 or higher. If you do not have an English level of B1 or higher, you have the opportunity to improve your language level by signing up for our pre-sessional English + Executive English packages. See the Pre-Sessional English Packages below for more information. 
 

Alternatively, applicants who are able to demonstrate 2 years of full-time academic study where the language of instruction was English are exempt from supplying an English proficiency exam for admission.

If you need to improve your English level, not to worry! We have a variety of Pre-Sessional English (PSE) and Executive English packages so you can improve to a Level B1 (or higher) and take your desired Executive English course(s) at an affordable price!

Through the enquiry and direct application processes, we will confirm that you meet the admission requirements (age and English level), ensure you found the right package for your needs, and help finalize your booking.

If you are applying directly to canada@oxfordinterntional.com, please also include proof of English level (see admission requirements above for details). If you need to take a free Spotlight test to prove your language level, please include that information in your application email and the Admissions team will provide you with a unique code. If you are not ready to apply directly and would like to work with an Oxford International representative, they will also be able to provide you with your free Spotlight test code if needed.
